# Irina Bilyk became the godmother of Alina Grosu's son: first photos from the sacrament and touching confessions

Ukrainian singer Alina Grosu shared the first photos from the baptism of her 1.5-month-old son, Mark-Gabriel, with her followers. The important spiritual event took place in an intimate setting in one of the churches, where the closest relatives and friends of the family gathered.

A special piece of news was the name of the child's godmother. This role was fulfilled by the famous Ukrainian pop singer Irina Bilyk. Grosu herself called this a great happiness and trust on her Instagram, noting that they chose the most important people in their lives for their "little one".

### A symbolic title became reality

Irina Bilyk also published a post dedicated to this event. She admitted that for many years she had joked with Alina about being her "godmother in the Ukrainian show business". Warm, family relationships full of trust and support have finally acquired a sacred meaning.

"And today this symbolic title became reality — I had the honor of becoming the godmother of Alina's wonderful little son. For me, this is a great joy, responsibility, and blessing," Bilyk wrote, wishing the boy health and God's protection. At the end of her message, she proudly called Grosu her godchild.

### A family celebration and outfit details

For Alina Grosu, the baptism was not only a religious rite but also an opportunity to unite the family. The artist admitted that such moments, when it is possible to stop and be together, will remain in her heart forever. In the photos taken during the sacrament, the singer appeared in an exquisite outfit that emphasized the solemnity of the moment.

Grosu chose a light floor-length dress with voluminous sleeves and a corset part. A special accent in the image was made by authentic ornaments in blue and dark tones, contrasting with the milky base of the fabric. According to church canons, the singer's head was covered with a thin white lace scarf, adding tenderness to the image.

The publication also featured shots with the singer's husband, whose face she still hides from the public, as well as with her parents.

### The path to motherhood

The birth of Mark-Gabriel was a long-awaited event for the family. Officially, Grosu announced her pregnancy in January 2026, admitting that the path to motherhood was not easy. In February, it became known that she was expecting a son, and in April the artist gave birth to her firstborn.

According to the singer, the boy was born a real giant — his weight was almost 4.8 kg, which significantly exceeded the doctors' predictions. Notably, rumors about the pregnancy appeared as early as the end of 2025, when the singer showed a photo with a rounded belly, but at that time she did not comment on the assumptions.
