## 🎯 Key Points

- Harry Kane and Bayern agreed on a contract until 2029
- In the 2025/26 season, the forward scored 73 goals for club and country
- The player remains a top contender for the Ballon d'Or

Munich's Bayern and star English striker Harry Kane have reached an in-principle agreement on signing a new long-term contract. The negotiation process between the leadership of the German giant and the 33-year-old forward has successfully entered its final stage, during which the parties are coordinating the final technical details of the future agreement. The initiative comes from the club, which aims to secure the status of one of the best scorers in modern world football for the coming years.

### Details of the New Agreement and Player Statistics

According to insider information from authoritative sports publications, Harry Kane's new employment agreement with Bayern will run until the summer of 2029. It is worth recalling that the English footballer's current contract with the Munich club expires in mid-2027. Since his transfer to the German team in the summer of 2023 from London's Tottenham Hotspur, the forward has demonstrated phenomenal efficiency, playing 154 official matches, scoring 152 goals, and providing 34 assists.

### Fantastic Form and the Race for the Ballon d'Or

This contract extension comes against the backdrop of incredible individual progress by the Englishman, who is having the best stretch of his professional career. During the 2025/26 season, the experienced striker has already scored 73 goals, playing for both Bayern Munich and the England national team. Such figures have naturally made him one of the main and most realistic contenders for the most prestigious global individual award — the Ballon d'Or.

### Controversial Data

Despite the status of the main goalscorer in the German Bundesliga, certain discrepancies have arisen in current betting odds and expert forecasts regarding the Ballon d'Or winner. While some analytical portals and insiders elevate Harry Kane to the rank of the undisputed race favorite due to his goalscoring records, other current summaries give symbolic first place to young winger Lamine Yamal. Nevertheless, the Bayern forward remains fully focused on club tasks, and his intention to continue his career in Munich has remained unchanged throughout all rounds of negotiations.

### Prospects for Cooperation

Despite the fact that the parties have already reached an in-principle agreement on key points, the official contract signing ceremony and the date of the public announcement have not yet been scheduled. The management of Bayern and the player's representatives are completing the legal drafting of the documents. It is expected that all formalities will be settled in the near future, and the club will officially announce the contract extension with a player who has firmly etched his name into the history of modern football.
