On Friday, June 26, and the night of Saturday, June 27, the football world will hold its breath. Decisive group stage matches of the 2026 World Cup will take place on the fields of the USA and Mexico. The focus is on the duel of star forwards and the fight for survival in the group tournament.

### Duel of Leaders: Norway vs France

The most anticipated event of the week will be the match between the Norway and France national teams. Both teams approach this encounter as undisputed leaders of Group I. Following the previous rounds, the "Tricolores" and the Norwegians have accumulated 6 points each, guaranteeing themselves a spot in the knockout stage.

However, the standings do not negate the importance of the head-to-head confrontation. The match will turn into a personal duel between two of the main superstars of modern football: Norwegian goalscorer Erling Haaland and French attack leader Kylian Mbappé. France remains one of the strongest teams in the tournament, but Norway is demonstrating incredibly powerful football capable of surprising any favorite.
