- Greece let a lead slip to draw 2:2 with the Netherlands.

The third matchday of the UEFA Nations League brought plenty of intriguing results, unexpected twists, and long-awaited triumphs. The main highlight of the evening was Jurgen Klopp's first victory as the head coach of the German national team, alongside another sensational performance by the Greek national team, which managed to take points from formidable the Netherlands.

### Drama in Copenhagen and Germany's Triumph

The clash between Denmark and Portugal attracted heightened attention due to a major scandal surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports indicate that the 41-year-old forward left the national team camp following a dispute with the coaching staff and federation over a lack of playing time. Despite the absence of their legendary veteran, the Portuguese produced a vibrant and high-scoring match against the Danes, securing a 4:2 victory. Joao Cancelo, Goncalo Ramos, Vitinha, and Joao Felix scored for the winners, while the hosts responded with goals from Mikkel Damsgaard and Rasmus Hojlund.

### German Success and Greek Character

Meanwhile, the German national team under Jurgen Klopp claimed their debut victory in official matches. At the home Allianz Arena, the DFB squad confidently defeated Serbia 2:0 thanks to goals from Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz. This win allowed German fans to breathe a sigh of relief after a shaky start to the tournament. Concurrently, Greece reaffirmed giant-killer status by drawing with the Netherlands. Leading 2:0 at halftime courtesy of Fotis Ioannidis and Georgios Masouras, the Hellenes allowed their opponents to equalize through Virgil van Dijk and Tijjani Reijnders in the closing minutes.

### Sensation in Wales and Other Results

A major upset of the evening occurred in Cardiff, where Wales unexpectedly defeated Norway. Despite Oscar Bobb opening the scoring early, the Welsh answered with goals from Daniel James and Neco Williams, holding on to their lead even after Torbjorn Heggem was sent off. In other Nations League groups, Kosovo and Israel played out a goalless draw, Ireland and Austria delivered an action-packed game featuring a brace from Troy Parrott, while League C matches between Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein, as well as Malta and Gibraltar, also ended without a winner.
