Moscow has stated its readiness to receive representatives of the administration of US President Donald Trump. According to Russian leader's aide Yuri Ushakov, the visit of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow is expected immediately after the signing of the memorandum between the US and Iran.

### Details of the upcoming meeting

The signing of the document between Washington and Tehran is scheduled for June 19 in Geneva. Commenting on the results of Sunday's conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Ushakov clarified that it is precisely after this event that the opportunity for American representatives to come to the Russian capital will open up.

"We expect that after the signing of the memorandum on Friday, there will be an opportunity for two well-known representatives to us, Witkoff and Kushner, to come to Moscow to meet with our leadership," Ushakov is quoted by "RIA Novosti" citing RBC-Ukraine.

### Diplomats' route and Kyiv's position

Interestingly, the head of Ukraine's Military Intelligence Service, Kyrylo Budanov, previously reported on Witkoff and Kushner's plans to visit Kyiv. According to him, the Ukrainian capital will be the first point of their visit, after which they are supposed to head to Moscow. Thus, the diplomats' route may include both conflicting centers.

### Europe's reaction and internal sentiments in the RF

Against the backdrop of these announcements, European leaders have stated their readiness to play a key role in negotiations on ending the full-scale war in Ukraine. Berlin emphasized that this process would be coordinated in close interaction with the US.

Nevertheless, Western media reports growing dissatisfaction in the Kremlin with regular visits by American mediators. The Russian side, according to sources, insists on changing the format of the negotiation process for a peaceful settlement. In addition, some high-ranking Russian officials admit that the conflict has reached a deadlock, and there is currently no safe scenario for getting out of it.
