Barbara Kuzmenko, the daughter of legendary Ukrainian musician Kuzma Skryabin (Andriy Kuzmenko), has shared unexpected news with her followers. On her Instagram page, she posted photos from a medical facility, announcing that she had to step away from her usual routine for a few days due to a surgical procedure.

### Hospital Details and Recovery Process

In a series of stories, Barbara posted a picture showing her sitting on a hospital bed with medical documents in hand, along with another shot showing an IV catheter in her arm. The young woman noted that the surgery was scheduled in advance, though she has not yet disclosed the exact diagnosis or the nature of the medical intervention. According to Kuzmenko, she plans to share details later about what led to her decision to have the surgery and how her recovery is progressing.

### Professional Path and Medical Practice

It is worth noting that Barbara pursued medicine following her heart and a long-held dream. In an interview with OBOZ.UA back in February 2024, she shared that she had dreamed of becoming a dermatologist since she was 13 due to her personal experience with skin issues. Her father fully supported her choice, emphasizing the importance of the profession. In July 2026, Barbara opened her own aesthetic medicine clinic in the center of Kyiv, admitting that launching a business amidst constant shelling and power blackouts was incredibly difficult yet immensely responsible.

### Contradictory Data

Various news reports regarding the Kuzmenko family periodically emerge in the media space, requiring precise fact-checking. For instance, earlier reports in some sources linked her recent absence from the public eye to the aftermath of enemy shelling and damage to her home, but Barbara herself clarified that her current break from work is exclusively related to a scheduled medical procedure and the subsequent recovery period.
