If treatment lasts more than 12 months, a repeat MMC examination is conducted no less frequently than every four months in the procedure established by the Cabinet of Ministers. This means that even under the new mechanism for retaining MP, the status of the military personnel member and their right to payments are periodically re-verified.

The law also introduces improved nutrition during treatment and rehabilitation in healthcare facilities and rehabilitation institutions.
