# LELÉKA on Rumors with the Bandurist: 'A Friend with Extended Powers' and Family Plans

Ukrainian singer LELÉKA (Marychka Padalko), who represented Ukraine at 'Eurovision-2026', gave an open interview in which she commented on rumors of a romance with bandurist Yaroslav Dzhus. The artist admitted there is 'chemistry' between them but clearly defined the boundaries of their interaction.

### 'A Friend with Extended Powers'

Following their joint performance at the music competition, fans repeatedly noticed a warm relationship between the musicians. In a conversation with RBC-Ukraine, LELÉKA confirmed that a connection between them indeed exists. 'It exists, and it's true. Yaroslav is a very good person. He supports me a lot,' the singer noted.

However, the artist emphasized that she is not ready to call their connection a romantic relationship. According to her, they currently share a strong friendship and mutual understanding. 'I am not ready to define anything right now and call it a relationship. Friendship is super. Support is super. Colleague-like relations are super. That is what we have. I told him it's friendship and that's it,' LELÉKA explained.

With humor, the singer admitted that a certain moment of intimacy between them did occur. 'We kissed! And not just with him, there are 10 others... I call it this: a friend with extended powers,' she noted with irony.

### Personal Experience and Outlook on the Future

LELÉKA explained that at the moment she is consciously not striving to build romantic relationships, preferring to enjoy her freedom. Nevertheless, she does not rule out the possibility of starting a family in the future. 'I want them to be healthy, equal relationships in which we can together develop this desire and understanding that we both want a family,' the artist said.

In the interview, the singer also talked about her past. She got married for the first time at 22, but the union fell apart due to different views on life. 'These were my first relationships. We were immature people with very strange views on cohabitation and didn't understand what our needs were,' LELÉKA confessed.

The singer's second husband was a German who was younger than her. The reason for their breakup was a disagreement regarding the future: the man did not want children. The artist noted that officially they are not yet divorced, as the divorce process in Germany is quite complicated.
