The State Migration Service (SMS) of Ukraine has clarified the procedure for obtaining a new passport in place of a lost or stolen one. ### Personal presence is a mandatory requirement The main rule to remember: passport restoration requires the personal presence of the applicant. This issue cannot be resolved remotely. The citizen must apply to the relevant institution and submit an application for the issuance of a new document. ### What documents are needed for restoration To successfully complete the procedure, you must prepare a package of documents.
