Large-scale search and rescue operations continue in Lviv following a missile attack that occurred in the night of July 30. The city was struck by Russian missiles, causing serious damage to residential areas and necessitating the emergency evacuation of residents.

### Casualties and rescue operation

As of 12:00, two people are listed as missing in Lviv. The number of injured has reached 34, including three children. Rescuers are working in difficult conditions, clearing rubble and evacuating residents from damaged buildings.

Among those saved is a 93-year-old woman pulled from the rubble of a five-story building. An elderly man in a wheelchair was also evacuated from a neighboring entrance. In total, emergency services have already rescued 12 people, including a child.

### Scale of destruction

The most significant damage was sustained by two high-rise buildings on Patona and Vyhovs'koho streets. A direct missile hit on a residential building was recorded on Vyhovs'koho street. As a result of the attack, more than 20 residential buildings, one school, and two kindergartens were damaged.

Evacuation from one of the five-story buildings is complicated by a blocked staircase. Rescuers are using a crane to carry people out through the windows. The operation is ongoing, and the number of casualties may increase as the rubble is cleared.

### Government response and coordination of forces

Information on the progress of the rescue work is confirmed by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyy, and the State Emergency Service (SES). Coordination of actions between rescuers, medical personnel, and utility services continues around the clock.
