## 🎯 Key Points

- Apple will hold two waves of autumn announcements in October 2026.
- Smart home devices (Apple TV, HomePod mini) are expected on October 13.
- New Mac computers with the M6 processor may be unveiled in late October.
- Analysts forecast potential price increases for new models due to component costs.

The autumn season of 2026 promises to be one of the busiest for Apple. According to insiders and tech reviewers, the Cupertino-based tech giant plans to hold two major waves of announcements, covering both the smart home segment and professional computer systems. The first wave is expected as early as October 13, while major hardware updates in the Mac lineup will be unveiled at the very end of the month.

### Two Waves of Apple Autumn Releases

The company's autumn presentation schedule will be divided into two distinct phases. The first phase, slated for October 13, will focus on the smart home ecosystem. An official release of updated devices is expected, including the Apple TV set-top box, the compact HomePod mini speaker, and a specialized Home Hub command center. Judging by leaks, this release will take the form of a subdued press release and a video presentation without an in-person press event.

### Contradictory Data

Some intrigue and diverging opinions persist among analysts regarding the second wave of announcements in late October. Some sources claim the event format will mirror last year's Scary Fast online event, focusing on high-performance chipsets. At the same time, industry experts disagree on timelines for specific configurations: while some insiders forecast the debut of a base 14-inch MacBook Pro running on the M6 processor right now, others push full architectural updates and major redesigns to later periods in 2027 and 2028, including the long-awaited transition to OLED displays.

### Economic Context and Price Outlook

Pricing policy remains an equally important factor for consumers. Against the backdrop of recent summer price increases for Mac computers driven by rising component costs and leasing programs, experts anticipate potential further price adjustments for new devices. Although Apple has refrained from official comments, the autumn premieres fit neatly into the company's traditional annual hardware update cycle.
