On Wednesday, June 3, an underground tremor was recorded on the territory of Ukraine. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing data from the Main Center for Special Control (MCSC).

### Event Parameters

According to official data from the agency responsible for monitoring geophysical processes, the tremor was registered at 13:42:44 Kyiv time. The magnitude of the event was 2.1 on the Richter scale.

Experts from the MCSC classify this earthquake as imperceptible to humans. However, precise data on its parameters is critically important for scientific analysis and the construction of seismic maps of the region.

### Epicenter Localization

Specialists have clarified the geographic coordinates of the event. The epicenter was located within the Vyhoda territorial hromada of the Kalush district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. If referring to the local map, the underground tremors were recorded near the village of Novy Mizun. On a broader scale, the event occurred in the area between the cities of Slavsko and Dolyna.

### Call to Citizens

Despite the low magnitude, the Main Center for Special Control has appealed to the population for assistance. Citizens who may have felt the tremors are advised to leave messages on the institution's official website. Such information is necessary for experts to refine the energy parameters of the earthquake and verify the data from automatic sensors.

### Context of Seismic Activity

The event on June 3 is not isolated. In early February 2026, an earthquake that occurred at sea was recorded in several regions of Ukraine. At the end of May, specialists also recorded seismic activity in the Black Sea off the Crimean coast. Previously, experts have already warned about the continued high probability of serious earthquakes in certain regions of Ukraine until 2027.
