# Massive Attack: Russia Strikes Ukraine with 122 Drones and Missiles. Night Results

The night of July 15 marked a time of large-scale air incursion. Russian forces launched one of the most powerful attacks in recent times, deploying an unprecedented number of strike assets. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched 122 attack drones and two guided air-to-surface missiles at the country's territory.

### Scale and Directions of the Strike

The attack was multi-vector. Enemy forces utilized the airspace of occupied Crimea, as well as the territories of the Kursk and Orel regions and Millerovo in Russia. Drones were also launched from the Donetsk region and Gvardeyskoye (Republic of Crimea).

The enemy's arsenal included a wide range of weaponry: from classic Shahed-type drones to jet models, as well as "Gerbera," "Italmas" drones, and "Parody" decoy drones. The missile strike was carried out using two Kh-59/69 missiles.

### Air Defense Operations and Enemy Losses

The country's defense was carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups. According to preliminary data, by 08:30, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 101 enemy drones. This occurred in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

Despite the effectiveness of the interception, it was not possible to avoid all hits. Hits from missiles and 18 attack drones were recorded at 19 locations. Additionally, debris from downed drones fell on 7 territories, creating risks for the civilian population.

### Repeated Strikes and Consequences

The situation remained tense even after dawn. Around 07:00, the enemy launched a repeat air strike on the Odesa region. Earlier, on the morning of July 15, Russian troops had already attacked Odesa, resulting in casualties among civilians and damage to residential buildings.

The Air Force of Ukraine warns that the attack is ongoing, and enemy drones are still in the sky. Citizens are strongly advised to follow safety rules.

In addition to Odesa, strikes hit other regions. Russian occupiers attacked a gas station in the Malyn community of the Zhytomyr region. Also, on the preceding day, July 14, occupiers struck a high-rise building in Kharkiv with a kamikaze drone, causing a fire in an apartment on the third floor.
