Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, received a nomination for the prestigious Daytime Emmy Awards in the category of 'Outstanding Lifestyle Program.' At the same time, the project that earned her this honor — the cooking show 'With Love, Meghan' — was officially cancelled by streaming giant Netflix in early 2026.

### Unexpected Success Amidst Failure

The situation surrounding the series appears contradictory. On one hand, the show failed to meet the platform's expectations: it did not make it into the top 1000 most-watched titles, and the second season, released at the end of 2025, ranked only 1124th, garnering about 2 million views. On the other hand, this very project received recognition from the Emmy jury, serving as a rare positive signal for Meghan amidst the criticism.

In January 2026, Netflix decided to shut down the project after a special Christmas episode faced harsh criticism. ### Return to Hollywood and New Horizons

This nomination holds special historical significance for Meghan. Almost eight years ago, shortly after joining the British royal family, she declined an invitation to the Emmy ceremony in Los Angeles. At the time, that decision was viewed as the end of her acting career and the beginning of life in royal status.
