## Key Points

- Meghan Markle publicly announced that five-year-old Princess Lilibet takes gymnastics classes and enjoys them
- The statement was made during a visit to the CRS charity studio in Nottingham, where the Duchess interacted with schoolchildren
- The visit took place following the Sussex family's return to the UK in late August 2026

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has shared details with the public about how her five-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, spends her time. During a visit to Nottingham, which she attended alongside her husband, Prince Harry, Meghan revealed that the little girl is passionate about gymnastics. According to the Duchess, the classes bring Lilibet genuine joy, and she mentioned this during a lively interaction with local schoolchildren.

### Visit to a Nottingham Charity Studio

The Sussexes visited the Community Recording Studio (CRS)—a charity founded in 1991 that helps young people discover music and learn sound recording skills. As part of the visit, Meghan Markle participated in a confidence-building workshop. The Duchess spoke with local school students aged 10 to 11 who were making friendship bracelets and sharing what brings them joy in their everyday lives.

### "My daughter is doing gymnastics right now"

During the conversation, the children were invited to answer the question: "When do you feel most like yourself?". One of the participants shared that this feeling comes when she is doing activities she loves—specifically gymnastics and crafts. In response, Meghan Markle recalled her own daughter's hobby: "My daughter is doing gymnastics right now. She just loves it," the Duchess said. Thus, this rare public comment about Lilibet was delivered not in an interview or a social media post, but during a spontaneous dialogue with children at a charity event.

### The Sussex Family: Children and Daily Life

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are raising two children—seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet. The couple traditionally guards their children's privacy and rarely shows them in the public eye. After stepping down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020 and moving to the United States, information about the children has become even more limited. That is why every public mention of Lilibet or Archie by their parents attracts intense attention from the press and fans alike.

### Context: The Family's Return to the UK

It is worth noting that in late August 2026, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, together with their children, returned to the United Kingdom after living in the US for more than six years. The family plans to settle outside of London. The visit to Nottingham, during which Meghan spoke about Lilibet's gymnastics classes, was one of the family's first public engagements on British soil since their return. During the visit, the couple also spoke with local residents who gathered to greet them and show their support.
