Moscow has commented on the results of the recent G7 summit, where the situation in Ukraine was a key topic. The Kremlin expressed the view that European leaders exerted a negative influence on US President Donald Trump, implanting erroneous judgments in his mind.

This was stated by Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, whose words were disseminated by Russian media. According to him, the Ukrainian agenda was dominant at the meeting, and the American leader was being pushed to adopt a specific point of view.

### "Harmful Ideas" and Lack of Contact

Ushakov directly stated that Trump was being "pumped" with ideas that he characterized as "not useful, if not harmful." The Russian official added that since the conclusion of the G7 summit, there have been no official contacts in the Kremlin with the US administration to clarify Washington's position.

The summit, held on June 16, brought together Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump. As a result of the negotiations, G7 countries published a joint statement confirming agreement on a number of issues regarding support for Kyiv.

### What Happened Behind Closed Doors

According to information that appeared in the media, key agreements were reached during informal communication between leaders. On the evening of June 15, summit participants gathered for dinner, where European politicians persuaded Donald Trump that Russia was losing ground on the front lines and that Ukraine was achieving victories.

The main message to the American leader was the assertion that Moscow was acting out of desperation. Furthermore, Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally showed the US President photos of the destruction caused by Russian strikes on the Assumption Cathedral. According to sources, these images made a strong impression on Trump.

### Meeting Results and Weapons Plans

The influence of allies' arguments and visual evidence reflected on the final US position. The next day, Trump firmly supported Ukraine in the joint G7 declaration. The document provides for an increase in the supply of air defense systems, additional anti-aircraft systems, and interceptor missiles.

Furthermore, reports have emerged of Trump's plans to address American defense companies. The US President intends to offer manufacturers to organize the production of weapons under license directly in Europe and on the territory of Ukraine, which would become a new stage in the logistics of military aid.
