Mykhailo Drapatyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has outlined a strategy for achieving victory in the war with Russia. According to him, success depends on a clear algorithm of actions, which includes intensifying operations across all domains and actively employing asymmetric approaches.

The General made this statement following his first telephone conversation with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander of the U.S. European Command, General Alexus Grinkevich. The conversation took place on July 29.

### Asymmetry and Economic Pressure

During the discussion, the Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief presented his vision of the path to victory. Drapatyi emphasized that the key tasks are increasing the lethality of enemy losses and reducing Moscow's economic capabilities.

«We are working to increase the level of lethality of enemy losses and reduce Moscow's economic capabilities. We are using asymmetric approaches and Ukrainian technologies for this», — the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine quotes Drapatyi.

### Gratitude to Allies

An important aspect of the conversation was the discussion of military aid. Drapatyi thanked General Grinkevich for his personal efforts to provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems.

Furthermore, the Commander-in-Chief noted the contribution to strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine by U.S. President Donald Trump and Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth. This refers to the delivery of military aid under the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL).

### Context of Events

Drapatyi's statement came against the backdrop of several other significant events. Recently, RBC-Ukraine sources reported on a possible change in leadership and discussed candidates who could replace the current Commander-in-Chief.

Alongside diplomatic activity, combat operations continue. Ukrainian defense forces struck a major Russian combine in Udmurtia, demonstrating the army's ability to operate at significant depths of enemy territory.
