# Naval 'Barracudas' in Action: How Ukraine Coordinated Drones to Attack Enemy Positions

The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have demonstrated for the first time the real combat operation of the Barracuda naval drone. In a video published on the official Telegram channel of the Navy, an unmanned system is shown stealthily approaching an abandoned ship used by the enemy as an observation post and delivering a precise strike against it.

### Scenario of a Multi-Level Attack

The demonstration of the 'Barracuda' was only the first stage of a complex operation. Immediately after the destruction of the observation post, an unmanned boat equipped with an unguided missile module joined the battle. Its task was to attack the coastal strip where, according to Ukrainian military data, enemy shelters are located.

The final note of the operation was the launch of reconnaissance and FPV drones directly from the naval UAV carrier. Within minutes, these devices detected camouflaged enemy positions, which immediately became targets for subsequent precise strikes.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Navy emphasized that precisely such interaction between several types of unmanned systems allows for a significant increase in the effectiveness of detecting and destroying enemy forces. The department's message includes a call: 'See how the multi-level 'Barracuda' strike system works'.

### New Concepts in the Black Sea

The development of naval unmanned systems in Ukraine is not limited to strike functions only. Previously, the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) reported on the development of a new system designed to detain sanctioned ships in the Black Sea.

According to the commander of the GUR unit with the callsign 'Ninth', the basis of the new concept is the upgraded multi-purpose naval drone 'Katran'. This system will allow not only to destroy enemy targets but also to escort ships to port for further confiscation, expanding the functionality of naval drones in the conditions of a modern conflict.
