The Netherlands have officially concluded their participation in the British-led multinational Ukrainian military training program, Interflex. This decision is linked to the project moving to a new phase focused on more specialized training. This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a publication by the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands.

### Four years of work and 63,000 graduates

June 2026 marks four years since the launch of Operation Interflex — a multinational initiative led by the United Kingdom aimed at training Ukrainian military personnel. During this period, more than 63,000 Ukrainian servicemen, including infantrymen, commanders, and instructors, have completed training.

The program became one of the key tools of international support, allowing for the rapid scaling of the Ukrainian army's skills. However, it is now entering a new phase designed for the long-term development of military capabilities.

### New phase: deepened specialization

The updated Interflex format involves expanding training directions. Among the priorities is the training of helicopter aviation instructors, the first graduates of which completed the course last month. Emphasis is also placed on medical and engineering training, which should enhance the practical skills of units.

According to the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands, the current rotation signifies the conclusion of their contribution to the Interflex program. However, it is emphasized that the initiative itself continues under British leadership, but with a transition to narrower training areas.

### International support remains

The department noted that international support for Ukraine remains, but it is now being adapted to the current needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite exiting Interflex, the Netherlands will continue to participate in the training of Ukrainian military personnel within the framework of other initiatives, in particular the European Union Military Advisory Mission (EUMAM).

### Ceremony in the United Kingdom

Events dedicated to four years of the program's work took place in the United Kingdom, attended by representatives of partner countries and Ukraine. During the ceremony, the achievements of the project and the contribution of participants to its implementation were highlighted.

### New technologies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Against the backdrop of changes in training programs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are receiving a new batch of Ukrainian-made Wolfstorm ("Storm Wolf") electric motorcycles. These vehicles are distinguished by high mobility and technical characteristics: weight of about 105 kg, speed up to 80 km/h, and a range of up to 100 km on a single charge.

Such vehicles can become an important element of tactical mobility, especially in conditions of difficult terrain or when rapid movement of small groups is required.
