Among them is a basic contract, which provides for service in positions outside of combat units. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Ministry of Defense. ### Who is the basic contract suitable for? This contract is concluded for 24 months and is aimed at specialists with valuable civilian professions who do not plan to participate in direct combat operations. However, as noted by the department, it is impossible to guarantee the complete absence of combat clashes. In the unpredictable conditions of war, rear personnel may be called upon to perform combat tasks. ### Financial terms The minimum salary under the basic contract is 30,000 hryvnias per month. At the same time, the payment system is flexible: additional remuneration is provided for performing combat tasks at command posts or in headquarters. Maximum income can reach 120,000 hryvnias per month with direct participation in combat operations. In addition, a serviceman has the right to independently transfer to more risky types of contracts if he deems it necessary.
