## 🎯 Key Points

- The Rangers beat Utah 4-2 to claim the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
- Winnipeg defeated Detroit (3:2) thanks to Connor's brace and Skinner's solid goaltending.
- Anaheim snatched an overtime win against Florida, while Vegas beat Vancouver on the road.

The National Hockey League regular season is gaining momentum, and the past game night gave fans plenty of bright emotions, tight finishes, and unexpected tactical twists. The spotlight was on matches featuring the league's leading clubs, where character and the will to win became decisive factors for the evening's triumphant teams.

### Rangers' Bright Start and Utah's Tenacity

The New York Rangers played another convincing match, defeating Utah 4-2 on home ice. This victory became the capital club's third in their first four games of the current season, allowing the team to firmly establish themselves among the Eastern Conference leaders. Guests from Utah demonstrated fighting spirit, twice narrowing the gap to a minimum, but the class and depth of the New Yorkers' bench did their job. In the final period, the hosts scored two unanswered goals and brought the meeting to a deserved success.

### Winnipeg's Grit and Detroit's Chase

### Winnipeg and Vegas' Comeback Wins

One of the most dramatic encounters of the evening was the clash between the Detroit Red Wings and the Winnipeg Jets. The Canadian club secured its first away win of the season, defeating the opponent 3-2. The main hero of the match was Connor, who scored a crucial brace, while goaltender Skinner made 33 reliable saves, holding the winning score under heavy pressure from the hosts. Notably, the Jets continue to play without their disqualified goaltender Hellebuyck, making this success even more significant. Detroit desperately tried to save the game and almost overcame a three-goal deficit, but they fell just short of time for a full comeback.

### Overtime Thrillers and Blowouts in Other Matches

An identical 3-2 scoreline was recorded in the match between the Vancouver Canucks and the Vegas Golden Knights, where the visitors from Las Vegas responded with three accurate shots to the Canadians' early goal and held on to the win. Meanwhile, the Anaheim Ducks broke the resistance of the Florida Panthers in overtime—3-2, with Granlund scoring the game-winning goal. The only matchup without competitive intrigue was the game in Seattle, where the local Kraken secured a comfortable lead by the end of the second period and confidently defeated the Calgary Flames 6-1.
