The night of July 13 became a time of heightened danger for Russian regions. Several federal subjects were subjected to an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. According to Russian sources, at least Moscow and the Stavropol Krai came under fire. Events developed rapidly, forcing authorities to urgently report on the performance of air defense systems and the actions of rescue services.

### Situation in the Capital: From First Reports to Final Results

The first alarming signals arrived in the evening. Starting at 22:20, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin began publishing messages about the air defense (PVO) repelling an attack on the capital. In one of the early posts, the official mentioned the destruction of eight drones. Experts note that phrasing regarding the "shooting down" of a specific number of targets may indirectly indicate that some unmanned aircraft managed to breach defense lines and reach the city.

As events unfolded, the figures in the mayor's office reports changed. According to the latest data provided by Sobyanin, during the night operation, air defense systems destroyed 24 drones. This indicates the scale of the attempt to breach the capital's air defense.

### Strike on Stavropol: Fire at an Infrastructure Object

Parallel to the events in Moscow, the situation in southern Russia developed. The Governor of the Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov, reported that at 01:13, an alarm was raised in the region regarding the use of drones. The reaction was swift: within minutes, reports appeared in open sources (OSINT) about an attack on an oil depot in the city of Mikhailovsk.

Footage began circulating on social media demonstrating a large-scale fire. According to eyewitnesses and video analysis, the fire engulfed fuel tanks. Official confirmation followed shortly from the governor himself. Vladimirov clarified the details of the incident:

- The fire occurred on the territory of an industrial zone in the village of Viazniki in the Shpakovsky district.

- Firefighting crews and other emergency services are working at the scene.

- The situation is under control, and the consequences of the attack are being liquidated.

Thus, the night attack demonstrated drone activity over a significant territory, from the center of the country to strategically important industrial facilities in the south.
