# Night Operation: Ukrainian Armed Forces Strike Strategic Targets in Taganrog and Crimea

The night of May 30 marked a large-scale retaliatory operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of coordinated actions, key infrastructure and military equipment targets on Russian territory were attacked, including strategically important sites in Taganrog and Crimea.

### Strikes on Taganrog: From Military Equipment to an Oil Terminal

One of the main directions of the attack was Taganrog. According to intelligence data, Ukrainian forces struck a number of critically important targets. In particular, two strategic long-range Tu-142 aircraft were hit. These aircraft play a vital role in the maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare system.

In addition, a launch vehicle of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile complex was hit. The loss or damage of such equipment inflicts significant damage to the enemy's missile potential in the region.

### Attacks on Energy and Logistics Infrastructure

In addition to military targets, facilities of the fuel and energy complex were subjected to strikes. In Taganrog, an oil terminal and an oil depot were attacked. These facilities are logistics hubs that supply both the civilian sector and military formations.

Separately, it is worth noting the work of Special Operations Forces (SOF). Drones controlled by SOF fighters struck a tanker belonging to the so-called "shadow fleet." Such vessels are often used to bypass sanctions and illegally export resources.

### Strikes in Crimea: Maritime Terminal in Feodosia

The operation was not limited to the mainland. The temporarily occupied Feodosia in Crimea also became a target of the attack. A maritime oil terminal was hit, creating serious problems for the transportation of hydrocarbons through the Kerch Strait and port hubs of the peninsula.

The combination of these strikes demonstrates the ability of Ukrainian forces to inflict pinpoint damage on remote and guarded objects, causing damage to both the military and economic potential of the enemy.
