## 🎯 Key Points

- The number of injured in Kharkiv has increased to 31 people, including two children.
- The enemy struck with three KAB-250 guided bombs targeting private residential houses.
- Two people were killed in the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts.
- About 50 private houses, offices, and power grids were damaged.

The number of casualties resulting from massive Russian shelling of Kharkiv has risen to 31 people. This was officially announced by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, who confirmed the information about two children being wounded. The situation in the city remains critically tense amid ongoing strikes on civilian infrastructure.

### Details of the Massive Strike and Destruction

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the enemy struck the city with three guided aerial bombs, preliminarily identified as KAB-250. The shells hit densely populated private residential areas directly. As a result of the attack, two people were killed: one in the Slobidskyi district and one in the Nemyshlianskyi district. Search and rescue operations at the impact sites are ongoing continuously.

### Scale of Destruction and Winter Preparation

The Mayor of Kharkiv noted that about 50 private residential houses suffered varying degrees of destruction, and damage to office premises and critical power supply networks was also recorded. Amid constant shelling, the city is preparing for an extremely difficult winter period. Terekhov emphasized that there is a clear escalation of strikes on the city ahead of the heating season.

### Systemic Terror Against Civilian Objects

Russian troops continue to systematically launch strikes on the territory of the Kharkiv region and the regional center. In addition to airstrikes on residential neighborhoods, on October 2, the occupiers attacked a Gas Networks crew vehicle using an FPV drone, in which five specialists were heading to carry out repair work. Earlier, on September 30, the enemy also carried out a combat drone attack on a shopping center in the Kyivskyi district of the city.

### Contradictory Data

During the monitoring of operational information, some discrepancies were recorded in the early reports of various news agencies and official departments. Thus, in the morning reports of international publications (in particular, DW), the number of casualties was estimated at a minimum of 29 people, citing preliminary operational reports from the State Emergency Service. However, by the afternoon, regional authorities clarified the final figures, confirming an increase in the number of casualties to 31 people as a result of continuous rubble clearance and new victims seeking medical assistance.
