## 🎯 Key Points

- The UPL match Obolon vs Kryvbas was interrupted after the first half with Obolon leading 1:0.
- The suspension was caused by a prolonged air raid alert and security threats in Kyiv.
- The UPL Directorate will determine a new date for the resumption of the match later.

The Ukrainian Premier League match of the eighth round between Kyiv's Obolon and Kryvyi Rih's Kryvbas was prematurely interrupted due to a large-scale and prolonged air raid alert in Kyiv. The security situation forced organizers and official match representatives to take emergency measures to protect the lives and health of players, coaching staffs, referees, and fans. ### Background and Match Progress

The match initially faced organizational difficulties and started with a significant delay due to the initial threat of an aerial attack. Despite the nervous atmosphere and pressure from the stands, the teams managed to take the field and play the first half. The players went into the break with a minimal advantage for the hosts, as Kyiv's Obolon led 1:0 thanks to a successfully converted chance.

### Impact of the Air Raid Alert on the Game

However, during the break, the situation in the region deteriorated sharply, and the announced large-scale air raid alert dragged on indefinitely. Some specialized sports publications and analytical portals reported recorded consequences of the threat in the immediate vicinity of the match venue. For security reasons, resuming the game in the second half became impossible. ### UPL Decision and Future Prospects

After consultations with club representatives, stadium officials, and official delegates, the Ukrainian Premier League Directorate made the only correct decision to postpone the continuation of the match to a reserve date. Currently, the exact time and day when the teams will be able to play the remaining 45 minutes of the meeting remain unknown and will be approved by an additional decision of the UPL sports directorate.
