### Long-Awaited Releases from the Global Pop and Alternative Scene

American singer, songwriter, and actor Dominic Fike, widely known for his TikTok hit Babydoll and the role of Elliot in the second season of the series Euphoria, is preparing to present his third studio album titled *How to quit smoking*. The release is scheduled for October 30 and will include 15 tracks, two of which are already available to the public. According to the artist himself, this work is dedicated to his mother, and his creative rethinking was largely influenced by a trip to Pittsburgh. At the same time, global music platforms are preparing for the release of new records from iconic alternative and pop bands setting trends this autumn.

### Ukrainian Releases: From Monokate's Melancholy to the Executed Renaissance

Local releases created under extreme conditions are drawing special attention. For instance, Monokate's mini-album, released on October 1, features six tracks with a deep guitar-driven and dark melancholic sound. The project was recorded and created in Kyiv amid regular power outages. In addition, an important cultural event was a conceptual mini-album set to the poems of five poets of the Executed Renaissance era—Pavlo Tychyna, Dmytro Zahul, Mykhailo Semenko, Dada Mohylianska, and Maksym Rylsky—implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund.

### Large-Scale Collaborations and New Musical Eras

October's music calendar is also filled with large-scale collaborations and genre experiments. These include deluxe edition releases from well-known Ukrainian rock bands, as well as conceptual rap projects created with the participation of military personnel and civilian producers. The Latexfauna band officially announced the beginning of the era of their new album *AstroPunk*, presenting a single and a video for the track *KAZHAN*, promising fans maximum creative freedom and unexpected experiments ahead of the full-fledged release next year.
