# Odessa under fire: night attack, fire in garages and launch of new Terra A1 interceptors

The night of July 6 became yet another test for the residents of Odessa. Russian occupiers attacked the city again, striking peaceful districts. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured, and residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

Official information about the incident was confirmed by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. According to him, a major fire broke out in a garage complex in one of the city districts. The fire quickly engulfed several structures, and the shockwave from the explosion shattered windows in nearby residential buildings.

Rescue services responded to the incident promptly. The fire was extinguished in record time, preventing it from spreading to residential areas. An operational headquarters is working at the scene to assist residents affected by the attack. Specialists are assessing the damage and consulting citizens on further steps.

### Condition of the injured

As a result of the attack, a 23-year-old man sustained injuries. Medical personnel are already providing him with necessary aid. The exact diagnosis and prognosis will be known after the initial examination is completed, but doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the patient's condition.

### A new milestone in defense

Odessa has been under constant pressure from the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Mass attacks on the region have forced the country's leadership to reconsider its defense strategy. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a special decision to strengthen Odessa's security.

In response to the threat, Ukraine has officially begun the operational deployment of the latest Terra A1 interceptor drones. These systems were developed specifically to counter Shahed-type kamikaze attack drones, which are actively used by Russian forces to strike rear facilities and populated areas.
