Ukrainian singer Oksana Voyazh, known for her hits from the early 2000s and her deep vocal timbre, shared in an exclusive interview with RBC-Ukraine a story that still evokes mixed feelings in her. The artist spoke about the peak of her career when an influential and wealthy man appeared in her life, whose attention escalated from fandom into genuine pressure.

### Obsessive Generosity Instead of Creative Dialogue

According to Voyazh, the man positioned himself as a devoted fan ready to make the singer the main star of the Ukrainian stage. However, instead of discussing musical projects, new songs, or music videos, the dialogue was reduced exclusively to material benefits. The artist recalls that the interlocutor literally showered her with offers: "Come, take the money," "I will buy you this," "I will give you that".

"His pestering was almost like violence for me. First, it was fur coats, then expensive cars, talks of a luxurious life. And all of this sounded so intrusive that it began to frankly scare me," admits the singer.

The man was convinced that star status is formed exclusively through expensive things. He insisted that Voyazh must look "richer than other artists," have the best cars, and the most luxurious image. Oksana, who has always been distinguished by her bright style and bold stage solutions, did not understand the logic of such an approach. She and her husband always provided themselves with a comfortable life independently, so the idea that success could be bought seemed absurd to her.

### "I Will Remove Povail, and You Will Be Number One"

The situation reached a peak when the fan uttered a phrase that shocked the singer to her core. "He said: 'I will remove Povail, and you will be number one'. For me, this sounded wild. I simply do not understand such thinking," recalls Voyazh.

In her understanding, success comes thanks to talent, hard work, and the love of listeners, not through someone's connections or the ability to "remove" competitors. Even the artist's producer could not understand why a person calling himself a fan would start not with music, but with fur coats and cars.

### Resistance and Liberation

After these words, Oksana decided to find out more about her persistent fan through acquaintances. It turned out that the man was indeed very wealthy, had many businesses, and serious connections. However, no promises or prospects convinced the artist to agree to such "collaboration".

"I refused all the time. It did not attract me, but on the contrary — it began to stress me out. Over time, I just wanted this story to end. And when he finally disappeared from my life, I literally sighed with relief," admitted the singer.

Oksana Voyazh is convinced that true success cannot be bought with either money or influential acquaintances. Today she continues to develop her career, engages in charity, supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and is preparing to release her fifth musical album, remaining true to her principles.
