Famous Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova has candidly commented for the first time on rumors and assumptions that the streak of severe trials and troubles in her life is allegedly connected to the evil eye or bad karma. Recently, the artist and her family have faced a number of dangerous situations, including a serious traffic accident abroad and threats during railway trips. Such events have sparked numerous heated discussions and conspiracy theories in the media space and social networks about a possible fateful coincidence. ### Reaction to talk about karma and a sarcastic joke Commenting on speculation about the mystical causes of her failures, Olya Polyakova showed her characteristic sense of humor. The singer said that she did follow folk advice and went to church to light candles, but put a completely different, ironic meaning into this gesture. The artist noted that the candles were lit not so much for her own peace of mind, but with sarcasm towards ill-wishers, emphasizing her resilience in the face of any rumors and gossip. ### Details of the accident in Moldova and investigation issues A separate topic of the interview was the high-profile car accident that the Ukrainian star got into in August in Moldova together with her eldest daughter Masha. As a result of the severe crash, the 21-year-old girl received serious injuries, including fractures of the nose and eye socket, as well as multiple bruises. According to Polyakova, the driver of the oncoming vehicle was heavily intoxicated and under the influence of substances. However, the family never received full access to the criminal case files and investigation results, since the incident took place on the territory of another state. ### Danger on trains and the youngest daughter's position The streak of troubles continued in September, when the artist, along with her 15-year-old youngest daughter Alisa, was heading to Poland. During the trip, the train was evacuated several times due to enemy drone raids, and during the third attack, a Shahed drone hit the train directly. Fortunately, the passengers managed to move to a safe distance. Despite all the horrors experienced and proposals to move abroad, Polyakova categorically refuses to leave Kyiv without her youngest daughter, who flatly refuses to leave her native home. ## ❓ FAQ ### Q: How did Olya Polyakova react to rumors about the evil eye? **A:** The singer treated it with humor, noting with sarcasm that she lit candles 'for both the health and repose of her enemies'. ### Q: What happened during the car accident in Moldova? **A:** In August, Olya Polyakova and her eldest daughter Masha got into a car accident in Moldova caused by a drunk driver.
