After a thorough inspection, local authorities have declared the first 13 beach zones safe for swimming. This decision was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the administration and the military. ### Order on Access to the Coastline The Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Kiper, signed the corresponding order jointly with the command of the Operational-Tactical Grouping "Odesa". The document grants citizens access to recreational zones on the coast. The decision was made based on materials from the Special Commission of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (SES), which conducted a detailed survey of the areas. As a result of the inspection, 13 beach zones were found to comply with established safety requirements. ### Safety Standards and Lifeguard Posts Before allowing visitors, the authorities conducted a comprehensive assessment of conditions on the beaches. In Kyiv, the recommendation of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) not to visit beaches remains in effect. Due to security risks and the region's proximity to the combat zone, the start of the beach season here is unlikely to take place.
