A serious political discussion is brewing in Kyiv regarding the formation of a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a strategic meeting with deputies of the "Servant of the People" faction, attended by the prime ministerial candidate Serhiy Koretsky. The main topic of discussion was the future composition of the updated government, and the first details about the upcoming reshuffles are already emerging.

### Main intrigue: change of the Minister of Defense

The most discussed point was the information about the possible change of the head of the Ministry of Defense. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a deputy from the "Holos" party, relying on insider data, reported that Mykhailo Fedorov will likely leave his post. The current Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, is being considered for his position. This rotation could radically change the balance of power in the security block of the new government.

Sources from RBC-Ukraine confirmed a number of other personnel decisions that are already at the approval stage. In particular, it became known that Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, is being considered as a potential candidate for the post of Minister for Veterans' Affairs. This appointment will be a logical continuation of his work in the region, where issues of supporting participants in hostilities are particularly acute.

In the field of social policy, changes do not seem to occur: Denys Ulyutin will retain the portfolio of Minister of Social Policy. However, a change in leadership is expected at the Ministry of Economy: Oleksiy Sobolev will leave his post, making way for a new candidate, whose name is currently kept secret.

### New faces in key agencies

Informed interlocutors also revealed the names of candidates for several other important ministerial posts. In the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), Andriy Butenko may replace Oksana Lesova. Denys Maslov is being considered for the Ministry of Justice, and Oksana Fedorchuk for the Ministry of Digital Transformation (Ministry of Digital Transformation).

These reshuffles indicate a large-scale update of the government team, which should correspond to new challenges and requirements of the time. The final composition of the Cabinet of Ministers will be approved after coordinating all candidates with the president and parliament.
