Petrol pumps are once again dictating the rules of the game. There is still a noticeable spread in prices at Ukrainian gas stations, which can be a great opportunity for a thrifty driver to cut costs. While some networks are waiting and holding their course, others have already made concessions.

### Stability vs. Changes

The fuel market on May 27 presents an interesting picture. The major players — WOG, OKKO, and Ukrnafta — have chosen a strategy of conservatism. The cost of all types of fuel, from regular petrol to diesel and gas, in these networks remained at yesterday's levels. The situation changes if you turn to the SOCAR network. Here, the only notable event of the day occurred: automotive gas became cheaper by exactly one hryvnia. If yesterday the price for a liter of propane-butane was 48.99 UAH, today it has dropped to 47.99 UAH. This is a small but pleasant reduction for owners of gas-powered vehicles.

Despite stability in most networks, the gap in fuel prices between different stations remains significant. This is especially true for petrol and premium grades. Car owners can save money simply by comparing prices before a trip. The difference can be substantial, and in the current economic climate, every penny counts.

Thus, on May 27, the fuel market is calm, with the exception of isolated price drops. Drivers should be attentive and choose gas stations where prices are most attractive to avoid overpaying for familiar fuel.
