## Key Points

- On Saturday, November 7, power outage schedules apply in several Ukrainian regions.
- Restrictions are caused by the consequences of strikes on energy facilities.
- With cold weather approaching, electricity consumption is increasing.
- Citizens are urged to use electricity economically after service restoration.

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, forced electricity restriction schedules will remain in effect across several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the national energy company Ukrenergo, noting the ongoing difficult situation in the domestic energy system due to the aftermath of massive attacks.

### Causes and scale of electricity restrictions

The need to apply stabilization schedules is driven by large-scale destruction of energy facilities that suffered from regular shelling. Ukrenergo emphasizes that the current operational situation remains dynamic and may change throughout the day. Citizens are advised to track up-to-date information directly on the official online resources of regional distribution system operators (oblenergos).

### Expert forecasts and winter period factors

With the onset of cold weather, the load on the national energy grid traditionally increases, exacerbating generation deficits. Energy Research Center Director Oleksandr Kharchenko previously stated that amid sharp temperature drops, individual settlements could face prolonged power outages lasting several days.

### Consumption recommendations and current situation

Energy workers insist on the need for careful and economical use of electricity during periods when power is restored according to the schedule. Rational load distribution helps reduce peak deficits in the grid and prevent emergency equipment shutdowns.

### Significance of energy system stability for regions

The further progress of the heating season directly depends on the pace of repair work and equipment reliability. The situation requires coordinated actions from both specialized departments and conscious resource consumption by every resident of the country.
