With the onset of October, Ukrainians are actively starting to build reliable emergency kits for their homes to successfully withstand potential power outages and seasonal drops in temperatures. Amid an unstable energy system, issues of autonomy are coming to the forefront, requiring households to prepare in advance and allocate their budgets rationally. In this context, major marketplaces are launching seasonal sales that help significantly save on purchasing necessary equipment.

### Start of the Large-Scale Marketplace Sale

Starting from October 6 through October 12, 2026, the ROZETKA platform is hosting a large-scale discount week with prices slashed by up to 55%. The promotion covers a wide range of products critical for ensuring energy independence and comfort during the cold season. Consumers can purchase generators, power stations, high-capacity power banks, portable lanterns, as well as warm clothing, thermal dishware, and various household goods at reduced prices. The assortment of promotional items is regularly updated, allowing buyers to find relevant deals every day.

### Two-Tier Home Protection Strategy

Experts recommend approaching blackout preparedness comprehensively by building home protection in two successive stages. The first level involves ensuring minimum household comfort and basic lighting and communication needs, while the second stage aims to achieve complete home autonomy. Special offers during the October sale allow households to cover both tasks without excessive financial strain by purchasing proven equipment at significant discounts.

### Bonus System and Cashback in October

In addition to direct discounts, October brings buyers extra benefits through the restoration of the cumulative bonus system. Starting October 1, 2026, all purchases paid for with the Rozetka Card earn a cashback of 1 bonus hryvnia for every 100 UAH spent. These bonuses apply to any category of goods, services, or SMART subscriptions, and the maximum accumulation limit for the month can reach 1,000 bonus hryvnias, which can later be used as additional discounts.
