## 🎯 Key Points

- Ukraine is shaping responses to Russian escalation based on briefings by Poklad and Palyza
- Negotiations are underway with partners for the supply of air defense systems and ammunition for F-16s
- A new round of talks between Ukrainian and US delegations will take place in the US on October 9-10
- Contradictory media reports exist regarding an alleged strike on the SBU head's office

Ukraine is stepping up efforts to formulate strategic and military-technical responses to a new wave of Russian escalation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held detailed meetings with key security officials and representatives of the Presidential Office, paying special attention to strengthening air defense and supporting the frontline.

### Briefings by the SBU Leadership and the Presidential Office

According to the head of state, the need to take emergency measures became apparent after hearing briefings from the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Poklad, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Pavlo Palyza. During the working meeting, priority steps to counter enemy aggressive actions were clearly defined, and ways for prompt response to current security challenges in the country were outlined.

### International Support and Aircraft Reinforcement

In parallel with internal response measures, the Ukrainian side is conducting intensive negotiations with international partners. The main focus of diplomatic and defense efforts is aimed at obtaining additional anti-aircraft missile systems and air defense packages, as well as critically needed ammunition for F-16 fighter jets. The President expressed gratitude to all countries expressing readiness to provide real assistance to the Ukrainian sky.

### Frontline Requests and the Diplomatic Track

Particular attention during the meetings was paid to the logistical support of Ukrainian defenders on the frontline. The command continues to promptly fulfill requests from combat corps and brigades received directly from the frontline. This work is synchronized with upcoming diplomatic contacts: a new round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations will take place in the United States on October 9 and 10, where the parties will discuss in detail the intensification of pressure on Russia and the parameters of further support for Ukraine.### Contradictory Data

It is worth noting that alongside official data on scheduled briefings and defense packages, reports have appeared in the information space from foreign sources, particularly Russian media, claiming a direct hit by a jet drone on the office of SBU Head Oleksandr Poklad in Kyiv and injured staff members. The Ukrainian side officially refutes such insinuations, emphasizing that the agencies are operating normally and meetings are of a planned strategic nature to prepare asymmetrical responses to the enemy.
