# Protecting Gas Stations and Ensuring Uninterrupted Supplies: The Ukrainian Government Takes Emergency Measures

The Government of Ukraine is focused on solving a critical task: ensuring the protection of gas stations and guaranteeing uninterrupted fuel supplies to frontline regions. Appropriate steps were taken following a coordination meeting held on July 7.

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram, a strategy of action was formulated during a meeting with market operators and relevant ministries. The primary priority was declared to be the needs of frontline communities.

### No Shortage and New Security Measures

In conditions where Russian strikes on fuel infrastructure have become a serious challenge to citizens' safety, the Cabinet of Ministers confirmed the availability of necessary fuel volumes. According to the Prime Minister, there is currently no shortage.

"We are implementing a comprehensive set of solutions in advance that will allow us to continue guaranteeing uninterrupted fuel supplies for citizens, businesses, Security and Defense Forces, and critical infrastructure," stated Yulia Svyrydenko.

Special attention was paid to increasing the safety of gas stations in regions subject to constant enemy attacks. The Cabinet of Ministers determined additional measures to minimize risks and protect facilities.

### Consequences of Recent Attacks

The relevance of the issue is confirmed by tragic events in recent days. On July 6, Russian occupiers struck a gas station in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in two deaths and nine injuries.

Previously, on July 3, a similar attack occurred in the Luben district of the Poltava region: several gas stations were damaged, and one person was injured.

An incident on July 5 in the Mykolaiv region, where a SOCAR facility was attacked, caused international resonance. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan presented a note of protest to the Russian Ambassador, Mikhail Evdokimov.
