Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a closed meeting with the country's top military leadership, issued strict directives regarding the conduct of hostilities. The main topic of the meeting was the continuation of an aggressive tactic against the Ukrainian economy and military infrastructure.

### Strikes on the military-industrial complex

Vladimir Putin directly stated the need to continue massive group strikes on the objects of Ukraine's military-industrial complex (MIC). The list of targets included not only factories and arsenals but also the infrastructure ensuring their operation. According to the president, the destruction of these chains is a key task for the Russian army at this stage of the conflict.

Information about the content of the meeting became known from a publication by the Lugansk Information Center, cited by the RBC-Ukraine publication.

### Response to sabotage and drones

The Russian leader paid special attention to security issues on his own territory. In connection with the increasing attacks by Ukrainian drones on civilian objects in Russia, Putin instructed the General Staff to prepare proposals for retaliatory measures. The command must be ready for new provocations and sabotage on the ground, which requires a review of current protection protocols.

### Analysis of the role of foreign instigators

During the meeting, the issue of international support for Kyiv was also raised. The President of the Russian Federation stated the need to continue a deep analysis of the involvement of those whom Moscow considers complicit in inciting and prolonging the war.

"This analysis is needed for us to make responsible decisions in the future," Putin emphasized, referring to potential actions against specific individuals and structures supporting Ukraine's military operations.

### Criticism of Kyiv's narratives

Vladimir Putin also reacted sharply to statements by the Ukrainian side about successes on the front. He called them part of Kyiv's propaganda campaign aimed at hiding the real situation. The Russian leadership insists that the tactical initiative remains with the Russian Armed Forces.

### Decline in trust rating

Against the backdrop of tough statements about the continuation of escalation and new strikes, data from sociological polls inside Russia are becoming relevant. According to recent studies, over the week, the level of trust in Vladimir Putin dropped by 3.4 percentage points. The approval rating of his activities decreased by 3.5 percentage points, which may indicate a rise in social tension in the conditions of a protracted conflict.
