# Rain and thunderstorms in Ukraine on June 11: meteorologists warn about weather in regions

On June 11, the weather in Ukraine will be uneven: rain with thunderstorms is expected in certain regions, while dry weather without significant temperature changes will prevail over most of the country.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine citing data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

### Where precipitation is expected

Meteorologists forecast variable cloud cover across the entire country. However, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in the western regions, as well as in the southeast.

The most intense precipitation is expected in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia. In these regions, heavy rain is possible in some areas.

Significant precipitation is not expected in the rest of Ukraine.

### Temperature regime

Nighttime air temperatures will range from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius. During the day, the air will warm up to 23–28 degrees. It will be slightly cooler in the far west of the country.

### Weather in Kyiv and Kyiv region

On June 11, variable cloud cover without precipitation is expected in the capital and the region.

    - **Kyiv region:** night 13–18°C, day 23–28°C.

    - **Kyiv:** night 16–18°C, day 26–28°C.

### Long-term forecasts and climate change

Experts remind that climate processes in the country are gaining momentum. According to forecasts, 2026 may set new temperature records, which has already caused concern among scientists.

In an interview with RBC-Ukraine, a specialist explained the reasons for the increasing frequency of floods and droughts in Ukraine. The expert warned that without reducing greenhouse gas emissions, by 2100 almost 650,000 hectares of the country's territory could be at risk of flooding.
