In his traditional evening video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced shocking figures regarding Russian army losses for July of the current year. The head of state emphasized that unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were the key factor ensuring the mass destruction of enemy personnel.

### Drones as the Main Instrument of Defeat

According to the data cited by Zelenskyy, in July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 30,272 Russian servicemen at the front. The President noted that this result was achieved primarily thanks to the use of drones. This figure includes both killed soldiers and those who received severe injuries that preclude further participation in hostilities.

It is important to note that the announced data is based exclusively on facts with clear video confirmation. This means that the actual losses of the enemy may be even higher. "The trend on the front is unchanged. Russians lose about 30,000 military personnel every month," the President stated.

Zelenskyy also made it clear that the role of unmanned technology in the war will only grow. He promised that even more drones would be deployed in all units of the Armed Forces and Security Forces of Ukraine, which would allow for continued systematic damage to the enemy's manpower.

### General Staff Data and New SBU Operations

The figures announced by the President correlate with data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier, the department reported that Russia lost a record number of occupiers in July — 42,860 people. The difference in figures is explained by different counting methodologies: the President operates with data confirmed by video, while the General Staff sums up all known losses.

In addition to combat operations on the front line, Zelenskyy touched upon the topic of special operations. The head of state confirmed that he has approved new operations by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) against Russia. According to him, on August 4, a large-scale 40-day SBU operation aimed at weakening Russia's potential will conclude.

The President placed special emphasis on the need to completely paralyze the Russian economy. Zelenskyy stressed that all processes helping Russia to resume the work of oil refineries must be completely stopped. This will be a serious blow to the logistics and financing of the enemy's military operations.
