Redmi continues to expand its lineup of wearable devices at an enviable pace. Just two months after the release of the base Redmi Watch 6 model, detailed specifications for two new devices have leaked: the Redmi Watch 6 Active and the Redmi Watch 6 Lite. Both models are positioned as more affordable alternatives to the flagship.

### Redmi Watch 6 Active: budget entry

The Active model will be the cheapest device in the new lineup. The estimated cost of the gadget in the European market will be around 50 euros. Although the case design retains general similarities with the base version, engineers have made several significant changes to reduce the cost.

The main difference concerns the display. The AMOLED panel has been reduced from 2.07 inches to 1.85 inches. The screen resolution is 450 x 390 pixels. Additionally, the developers have completely abandoned the rotating digital crown, simplifying the controls.

In terms of autonomy, the device does not lag behind the older models. The battery capacity is 470 mAh. The manufacturer promises up to 10 days of operation in normal mode and up to 20 days with power-saving mode enabled.

### Redmi Watch 6 Lite: balance of price and features

The more advanced Lite version is expected to cost around 60 euros. The gadget features a slightly modified case design with a characteristic protrusion on the right edge. The screen here is larger than in the Active version: a 1.96-inch AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 502×410 pixels.

The key advantage of the Lite model is the presence of a built-in GPS module, which allows for autonomous route tracking during workouts without being tethered to a smartphone. It also features a more accurate 9-axis motion sensor.

The battery in the Lite version is identical to the junior model — 470 mAh. However, it is worth noting an important nuance: contactless payments via the NFC module will remain an exclusive feature of the more expensive base Redmi Watch 6 model. Neither the Active nor the Lite versions support this option.
