# Repelled Attacks in the Kharkiv Region: How Border Guards Destroyed Assault Groups near Artel

Intense combat operations have unfolded on the North-Slobodian direction, in the area of the settlement of Artel in the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian border guards successfully thwarted an attempt by Russian forces to break through deep into the territory, stopping small enemy assault groups.

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the press service of the State Border Guard Service, fighters of the 4th Rapid Reaction Border Detachment bore the brunt of the attack. The Russian side, seeking to advance, threw small tactical groups into the battle, counting on stealth and surprise. However, the invaders' plans failed.

During active combat operations, Ukrainian border guards not only repelled the attack but also inflicted significant damage to the enemy's manpower and equipment. According to official data, the operation resulted in the destruction of:

- Seven assault groups of Russian servicemen;

- Three vehicles used for personnel movement and resource supply;

- Three shelters where the enemy attempted to establish a foothold and gather strength for further offensives.

These actions allowed for the stabilization of the situation in the Artel area and prevented the enemy from establishing a foothold on new positions. Events in the Kharkiv region demonstrate the high readiness of border units to repel attempts to seize territory.
