On the morning of October 4, 2026, Russian forces launched another massive attack using reactive drones against the city of Dnipro. A building belonging to a communications company came under enemy fire. The incident caused serious resonance in the region, given the critical importance of infrastructure facilities for ensuring uninterrupted communication for the population and emergency services. ### Attack Details and Emergency Services Operation According to Oleksandr Gandzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, in his official Telegram channel, all specialized emergency services promptly deployed their operations at the impact site. Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of destruction, while sappers and specialized experts assess the scale of damage inflicted on the city's telecommunication infrastructure. ### General Scale of the Morning Raid Across Ukraine This attack on Dnipro occurred against the background of a massive night and morning drone raid. According to operational data from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of October 4, Russian forces used 135 strike drones attacking Ukrainian regions from six different directions. Air defense forces managed to destroy a significant portion of air targets, but pinpoint strikes were recorded in a number of regions. ### Contradictory Data It is worth noting that discrepancies periodically appear in the information space regarding estimates of the scale of destruction and the number of victims during similar attacks of past years and the current period, published by various monitoring channels and official agencies. While local authorities focus on eliminating consequences at infrastructure facilities, independent experts point to the difficulty of prompt verification of the exact number of damaged civilian objects in the first hours after strikes. ### Consequences in Other Regions In the morning, the aggressor also continued striking other Ukrainian cities. In particular, Sumy came under guided aerial bomb strikes, where multi-story residential buildings were damaged as a result of a targeted hit. Information on casualties in Sumy is being clarified on-site by specialized health departments. 1240-й день войны](https://www.rfi.fr/ru/%D1%83%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0/20250717-%D0%BD%D0%BE%D1%87%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F-%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%B0-%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2-%D0%BD%D0%B0-%D0%B4%D0%BD%D0%B5%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%82%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B2%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%83%D1%8E-%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8C-%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B8%D0%BD-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%B8%D0%B1%D1%88%D0%B8%D0%B9-1239-%D0%B9-%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%8C-%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B9%D0%BD%D1%8B) - Подтверждено по источнику rfi.fr ## ❓ FAQ ### Q: Which building was damaged in Dnipro? **A:** A communications company facility was damaged as a result of the morning attack on October 4, 2026. ### Q: Who reported on the consequences of the strike? **A:** The information was confirmed by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk RMA, Oleksandr Gandzha.
