On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Russian occupying forces carried out another targeted attack on the civilian infrastructure of the Kyiv region. The incident caused widespread resonance and became part of a large-scale combined bombardment of the Ukrainian capital and surrounding regions using unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic weapons.

### Attack Details and Damage to the Retail Facility

In an official statement, the retail chain's press service confirmed the extent of the destruction. According to the company, as a result of the enemy attack, the store sustained massive structural and infrastructural damage, forcing it to temporarily suspend operations and halt customer service. Representatives of the retailer emphasized the most important fact: thanks to timely evacuation and coordinated staff actions, a tragedy was avoided, and all employees and visitors survived. The management expressed sincere gratitude to the State Emergency Service and other emergency crews who promptly arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the strike.

### Consequences of the Combined Strike on the Region

The attack on the supermarket in Ivankovychi occurred against the backdrop of a massive night and morning assault on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. According to rescue agencies, a drone strike sparked a fire covering an area of about 250 square meters. As a result of the shelling, a woman suffered an acute stress reaction and a hypertensive crisis; she received all necessary medical assistance. Concurrently, nighttime strikes on other areas of the Kyiv region led to the destruction of residential buildings, at least one fatality, and numerous injuries among civilians. In Kyiv itself, power supply disruptions and fires at warehouse and retail facilities were recorded.

### Contradictory Data

During the media coverage of the events, certain discrepancies arose regarding the details of localization and the scale of destruction. While official representatives of the retail chain and regional SES reports clearly localized the strike on the Fora supermarket in Ivankovychi, Obukhiv district, some Telegram channels and monitoring groups initially reported hits on other retail locations in the capital region or provided conflicting information about the number of casualties at the scene. Nevertheless, operational departmental reports confirmed a fire covering 250 square meters and the absence of fatalities directly at the retail chain's facility.
