## 🎯 Key Points

- Russian forces struck the private sector of Zaporizhzhia on October 14
- Residential houses in the Voznesenivskyi district were damaged

On the afternoon of October 14, Russian forces launched a series of attacks on the territory of Ukraine, striking the private sector of Zaporizhzhia. Residential buildings on several streets in the Voznesenivskyi district of the city came under enemy fire. As a result of the strikes, serious infrastructure and housing damage was recorded, and an emergency rescue operation was deployed at the scene.

### Attack Details and Rescue Operation

According to Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Defense Council, residential buildings were damaged as a result of the impacts: structural walls were completely destroyed in some houses, while others lost windows and roofs. State Emergency Service units, medics, and volunteers are working at the site. Rescuers managed to pull a man from the rubble of a destroyed house, who is currently in critical condition receiving medical assistance.

### Context and Previous Strikes

The current attack is part of a series of systematic shellings in Zaporizhzhia. Just days earlier, on the morning of October 10, Russian aviation struck a multi-story residential building, causing massive destruction and casualties. The situation in the city remains extremely tense, and local authorities urge citizens to stay in shelters.
