On the night of October 7, 2026, Russian armed forces carried out another air attack on the territory of Ukraine, resulting in a strike on a major industrial enterprise in the city of Dnipro. ### Regular shelling and the general situation in the region

The city of Dnipro systematically faces intensive missile and drone strikes. Just over the past week of October and late September, the regional center survived several severe attacks. It is worth noting that the nighttime shelling of Dnipro was part of a large-scale wave of air strikes across Ukrainian regions. Simultaneously with the strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region, enemy forces attacked the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, with ballistic weapons, where destruction and consequences were recorded in four districts of the city. International and independent monitoring groups continue to document an escalation of strikes against critical and industrial infrastructure nationwide.
