The central event is the possible appointment of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Rustem Umerov, to the post of Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) of Ukraine. According to sources in the ruling team, this decision logically follows from the politician's professional profile. ### The Logic of the Appointment: Why the FIS? The NSDC Secretary has already established himself as a key figure in international negotiations. A source close to the President's administration explained the motivation for Umerov's possible move to intelligence as the need to consolidate efforts on the external track.
