The smartphone market is already preparing for the refresh of Samsung's flagship lineup. Although the official presentation of the Galaxy S27 Ultra is not expected until early 2027, the first details about the new device have emerged well before the announcement. Insiders report that the South Korean tech giant is already testing a new firmware and considering options for an updated design.

### Firmware Testing and Model Confirmation

The key evidence of the development of the next generation of flagships was data published by insider Fahad Ali Javed. On the social network X, he shared a collection of model numbers (S958USQU0AZH3/S958U0YN0AZH3/S958USQU0AZH3), which unequivocally belong to the American version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

These data indicate that testing of the new One UI 9.5 shell is already underway on early engineering samples of the hardware. However, it is worth noting that no interface screenshots, changelogs, or kernel details have been released to date.

### Expected Technical Specifications

Preliminary specifications have begun to appear online, which could form the basis for the new model. According to leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will receive the following parameters:

- Display: 6.9-inch matrix with QHD+ resolution and Privacy Display function.

- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, created specifically for Galaxy.

- Cameras: 200-megapixel main module, 50 MP ultra-wide camera, 50 MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a second additional telephoto lens.

- Battery: 5700 mAh using silicon-carbon technology.

- Memory: options with 12 or 16 GB of RAM.

It is important to understand that the final design and technical specifications have not yet been approved, as Samsung continues to evaluate various implementation options.

### Price Hikes and Component Issues

In addition to technical innovations, insiders warn of possible changes in pricing policy. Due to the global component crisis, manufacturers are finding it more difficult to keep prices at the previous level. According to source @kro_roe, the starting price of the Galaxy S27 Ultra could increase by approximately 90 euros or 105 dollars.

Furthermore, the situation in the memory market could affect the smartphone's internal hardware. There is a possibility that the new flagship will not receive the expected UFS 5.0 storage and LPDDR6 standard RAM, which would be a compromise under conditions of shortage.
