The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has conducted a large-scale operation aimed at striking critical objects of the Russian Federation. Over the past few weeks, the intelligence agency has demonstrated the ability to operate deep in enemy territory, hitting military and energy infrastructure targets.

### Goals and Results of the 40-Day Operation

From July 27 to August 2, the SBU implemented a series of strikes covering a wide range of targets. The operation lasted 40 days and was aimed at weakening Russia's military potential. According to data, the following were hit:

- Enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC);

- Fuel and energy infrastructure;

- Air defense systems (ADS);

- Military airfields;

- Logistical facilities and ammunition depots.

Particular attention is drawn to the ability of Ukrainian intelligence services to strike targets at a significant distance. Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported a case where three oil refineries in Russia, located almost 1,600 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, were attacked in a single night.

### Personnel Changes and Counterintelligence

Alongside active combat operations in the enemy's rear, important organizational changes are taking place within the SBU itself. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy carried out large-scale personnel changes in the leadership of the intelligence agency. These steps are intended to enhance the efficiency of the agency's work in the conditions of the ongoing war.

Furthermore, the SBU continues its active work to prevent sabotage activities on Ukrainian territory. Recently, it was reported that agents of Russian intelligence were detained who planned and carried out a double terrorist attack in Odesa. This event underscores that the threat from enemy intelligence services remains not only on the front lines but also in the rear.
