# SBU intercepted a Russian document: Attack on a bus with children in Bryansk — a Russian special operation

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has released sensational data regarding the bus incident in the Bryansk region. According to the intelligence agency, a document was intercepted that officially denies the involvement of Ukrainian drones in the attack on the vehicle transporting children from Belarus. This document has become key evidence in the unfolding information war surrounding the tragedy.

### Document refuting the drone strike

The material intercepted by the SBU is an information briefing issued by the monitoring center of the state-owned institution "Safe Region" of the Bryansk region. The text of the document contains a categorical statement: at the time of the incident, no Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were detected in the airspace of the district.

This fact, recorded by Russian authorities themselves, completely undermines the official version of events previously announced by Russian officials, who blamed Ukraine for the attack on civilian transport.

### Intelligence version: Provocation against oneself

After analyzing the obtained data, the SBU concluded that the attack on the bus with children was the result of a special operation by Russian intelligence services. The agency's statement emphasizes that there are grounds to believe the incident was fabricated.

"Previously, the aggressor state repeatedly accused Ukraine of crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Federation. The Russian authorities use such cases to conduct their own information-psychological operations (IPO) and to exert pressure on Ukraine on the international arena," the SBU statement notes.

### Position of the Ukrainian command and human rights defenders

Official Kyiv consistently refutes any accusations of attacks on civilian objects in this region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security (CPD) have already stated that Ukrainian drones were not used against targets in the Bryansk region at that time.

The SBU also reminded that the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly observe the laws and customs of war, attacking only legitimate military targets.

In connection with the tragic events, the Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, contacted the Belarusian side. He emphasized Ukraine's readiness to join an impartial investigation of the incident to establish the truth.
