The conditions were extreme: a constant lack of time, personnel, and resources. However, the necessity to fill critical niches forced engineers and military personnel to create solutions "with a taste of creativity and resource strain". The system established in Ukraine is changing the rules of the game in the global market. Ukrainian manufacturers contrast bureaucratic procedures and long peacetime timelines with real combat results obtained under the most difficult conditions. ### Portfolios Instead of Budgets According to Gordienko, the issue is not even about money. Russian and Western competitors may have significantly higher budgets, but this does not guarantee results. Ukrainian companies build their reputation on facts: "You have thousands of targets detected by Shark, you have dozens of targets destroyed by Firepoint, and you simply enter all this into your portfolio and say: 'Well, let's compete, whose means are more proven'". It is precisely the proven effectiveness in combat that becomes the main argument on the international stage.
